Anti-HER2/neu Immunocytokine, scFv (4D5)-IL15

This antibody-cytokine fusion protein was achieved by conjugating/fusing the Anti-HER2/neu scFv to IL15. It was expressed in CHO and purified with affinity chromatography. The immunocytokine retains the ability to bind the HER2/neu as well as the biological activity of IL15. The goal of this antibody-cytokine fusion protein to cancer therapy is to concentrate the cytokine in the tumor microenvironment and in so doing directly enhance the tumoricidal effect of the antibody and/or enhance the host immune response (T-cell, B-cell or NK) against the tumor.
